Snow will cover up all the way everywhere in your trails and may make you a little slippery and wet but the experience will be very adventurous. This time will be great if you wanna enjoy the Nepalese cultural festivals like Dashain and Tihar.

Trek Difficulty

The trek to Everest Base Camp is considered a little hard but if have a good physique, and motivation to do it anyhow it won’t be hard as other says. The trail is not that hard but sometimes rain, snow, temperature, and other similar natural factors can be a cause for it. If you make a pre-planned for it and start focusing on boosting your stamina and power it would be great for you.

Most of the inexperienced hikers have also already completed their trek with a general physical status but if you become prepared for it before departure to base camp it will be more rewarding and a plus point for you. You just need to have a habit of walking just 4 to 5 hours a day and just need to know how to walk on trekking. You may experience some up-and-down trails but just carrying your daily pack you can easily make it. You just need to focus on basic activities like running, swimming, yoga for breathing techniques, and saving stamina. Considering these factors you can easily make your trek successful. But, if you have health problems like lung disease, heart disease, or blood disorders you must consult your doctor. You can also make a call to Wandering Trails Adventure to learn more information about it.

Heritage and Landscapes Around Everest Region

In the trekking trails of EBC,  we can enjoy the beautiful fir forest, pine forest, rhododendron forest, and also juniper forest until we reach Dingboche. All the Himalayan peaks, varied terrain, and wooden hills will give you an eye-catching view. You can also enjoy beautiful waterfalls, clean mountain streams, and suspension bridges along the trails. Different monasteries, gumbas will be on your trails in different villages where you can visit and explore.

After continuing the journey from Dingboche village, you will slowly leave the dense forest and encounter terraced fields. After you reach the height of 4,000 meters slightly you will notice the change in altitude. You will experience pebbles and stones road stepping in the Khumbu Glacier and Traverse Canyons. You will see all the gorges and streams frozen.

Flora and Fauna around the EBC region

On the way to EBC, when you get to the higher elevations you can enjoy the blooming rhododendrons, juniper scrub, and other woody vegetation.

However, due to snowfall and cold climate, they are replaced by a tundra-like community of short grasses, sedges, mosses, and alpine plants.

Here, we can see marmots, mouse hares, tahr, musk deer, snow leopards, and maybe blue sheep in the Himalayas. You can still see wild Yak and big Tibetan sheep sometimes. Spiny Babbler, vultures, snowcocks, Himalayan Gifrro,n and many more would all be found here. Among them all, the Spiny Babbler is the only species that can be found only in Nepal.

Here most of us can spot yaks cause they can endure the dizzying heights of the Himalayas and serve as a part of carrying logistics and storage. The female Yak is very much treasured by Sherpas because of the milk it brings. The milk can be preserved in cheese for quite some time and can be eaten.

Nepal is a heaven for ecotourism for all the flora and fauna therein.
