One of the Koshis to the mighty Sapta Koshi (Seven Koshi), the “river of gold”, Sun Koshi is rated as one of the top ten expeditions of the world. Most rapids are relaxing, while a couple of  rapids are thrilling. Varied rapids with the best of beaches is what the river offers. A few bat caves and scenic Nepali villages can be seen through out the trip.
The beautiful river then is adjoined by the Tamur river. This river sources its water from the mighty Kanchenjunga. This whitewater has some thrilling Class V rapids.
