Itinerary

Our first day is spent on a Flat Water section/area, where we are to learn a variety of basic Paddle Strokes, Braces, Rescue Techniques and the famous Eskimo Rol if you dare to take up the challengel. Before the small town of Mugling, the amateur Kayak is to enjoy views of before confluence of Marshyangdi and Trishuli River. A simple picnic lunch is provided on the beach to boost the energy and vitality of the beginners for paddling; a unique one of a kind dining experience setting up a camp before the mighty rivers.

Our Whitewater Adventure is now to start off in the Lower Trishuli River, where the rapids tend to grow gradually making it the perfect spot for a total learning. As the learning kayakers paddle down the perfect learning grounds of the river, each kayak is to experience Class II+ rapids. A certified, well qualified and experienced raft & safety kayak is to escort the team throughout the entire river & learning journey. We are at all times keen in providing refuge in case any of the participants need a break at any given point of time. Prior to getting into the water a thorough and detailed introduction & orientation is provided to the Whitewater Theory, River Safety and Navigation. We are to learn about River Currents, Eddies, Holes and waves while our instructors are teaching the students on how to get through the river. Eddy-in and Eddy-out and discovering paddling through gentle river currents and mild rapids. Lunch is prepared on the riverside beach half way through the day. In the night, we camp on a riverside beach. Camping gear, luggages, cooking equipment, food and drinking water is brought with the team on a support gear raft for the duration of the entire river adventure. Our all rounder multi-tasking guides will prepare a variety of hygienic and delicious buffet style meals. Should any assistance required to any of the students; we are at all times committed to the best standards, ethics & norms.

After breakfast, the camps are dismantled, packed up and reloaded onto the support gear raft to continue our journey/expectation down the river. As a team, we make sure to leave the beach cleaner than when we arrive. Preserving nature is a duty & responsibility of each one of us! A Whitewater Rafter & Kayaker is a big time nature lover and it's the responsibility undertaken to preserve and conserve nature to our best. Then the time comes to discover a few fun and bumpy rapids where our instructors will show the way down the best line to navigate the escalating whitewater. Between these Class II/II+ rapids there are plenty of flat water sections to practice the Eskimo Roll or to simply relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, wildlife and culture. That night, camp is set on another beautiful white sandy beach with a local village nearby. At camp, all of us need to be always on the lookout for opportunities to learn the wilderness of survival skills or a variety of fascinating cultural information from our expert Local Guides.

Coming to the last day with a bunch of learnings; now it's time for all of our learnt skills to be put onto test on the last day, as we are down to challenge some exciting II+/III rapids, before our adventure comes to an end near the confluence of the Trisuli River on the outskirts of the Chitwan National Park. We will have a final Eskimo Rolling Test before lunch and good-byes. *Probably the hardest! Private transportation with our crew is provided back to the company resort, while local bus options are also available towards Kathmandu, Chitwan, Bandipur or Pokhara. With all said above, this beginner “Kayak Clinic” is also recommended as a warm up for more experienced paddlers who are out of practice for quite a while and look forward to brushing up on the fundamentals before challenging bigger Himalayan Rivers. A plus 2 days Mini Seti Expedition will also be available on request for kayakers who want more. Of course with wanting more would be a subject to more charges!
