Itinerary

Your Nepalese travel experience starts when you arrive in Kathmandu and receive airport pickup before being driven to your hotel accommodation. Spend the day enjoying some rest along with exploring the dynamic atmosphere of Thamel where shops cultural sites and vibrant cafes attract tourists. The Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) together with Kathmandu Durbar Square offers nearby destinations to visit. You will join a trek briefing session later in the day for your guide to present the journey plan and solve your queries. During this preparation period check all your equipment while also obtaining required permissions and supplies. You will stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu Arrival Day(1355m)

Eat your morning meal before beginning a 6-7 hour drive from Kathmandu to the town of Dhunche. The driving path shows you mountain roads that present extensive views of agricultural lands along with dense forests and numerous streams. The journey will lead you through numerous villages and towns that let you experience traditional rural living in Nepal. Located at the entry of Langtang territory Dhunche works as a stopover point before continuing with the trek. After you arrive at the destination you should walk around town before eating lunch and beginning your trek preparations. We will spend the night in Dhunche.

Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (1,960m)

The initial trekking portion leads explorers up from Dhunche into mountains where oak trees mix with pines and rhododendron shrubs. The path follows a clear route while occasional mountain views of the snow-capped Langtang range reveal themselves. The hiking path takes you toward higher elevations where the air turns colder yet cleaner. Your journey will end at Chandanbari which the locals refer to it as Sing Gompa after spending several hours of walking. The small community attracts visitors because it has a yak cheese factory together with its attractive monastery. You should dedicate your evening to site exploration while enjoying traditional yak cheese from the local production. You will be staying in Chandanbari for the night.

Trek from Dhunche to Chandanbari (Sing Gompa) (3,330m)

The present-day event follows a gradual mountain path that showcases breathtaking Himalayan sights including Langtang Lirung and Ganesh Himal. Lauribina rests on a ridge while the path steepens until it reaches this small settlement. Local populations chose the name Lauribina because it means “without a stick” in the Nepali language which reflects the past challenging path. Spend time for acclimatization because you will have stunning panoramic views from this elevation point. You will stay in Lauribina today.

Trek from Chandanbari to Lauribina (3,910m)

Your journey reaches its peak on this demanding day when you progress toward Gosaikunda Lake. Travelers face challenging climbs along rocky terrain on this path yet the remarkable views make it a rewarding experience. The trek to Gosaikunda reveals several little glacial lakes that ultimately lead to the main lake. Trek from Lauribina to Gosaikunda (4,380m)

Memories of your travel experience will surface when you reach Dhunche. You will stay overnight in Dhunche.

Trek from Gosaikunda to Dhunche (1,960m)

The scenic drive will lead you back from the trek to Kathmandu. When you arrive you'll get either rest time or a chance to observe the city. Tourists should not miss visiting the major attractions of Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and other major heritages. To mark your trek accomplishment we will hold your farewell dinner at a Nepali restaurant with traditional dinner. We will drop you off at a hotel in Kathmandu where you will stay for the night.

Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu

This is your departure day. We will provide you with a souvenir and a certificate marking the completion of the trek. You can do last-moment shopping or plan for other activities on this day.
