As your flight lands at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu Valley, the beauty of the valley will amaze you. You can have your exercise in the morning by practicing yoga by the side of the Rara Lake. Spend some time in the nice weather and the beautiful scenery of the lake surrounded by the forest before the actual trekking. Later, take lunch after the yoga session before proceeding to Pina. The trail today is a gentle downslope for a change in the boggy area after leaving Rara Lake. The route has lots of vegetation cover and fresh mountain air, hence making the exercise a pleasurable one. Halfway through your journey, you will get to the headquarters town of Mugu district, known as Gamgadhi. This means spending some time here with the community, feeling part of their culture, and getting to know how people live around this area. Carry on to Pina, which is a wonderful village situated at a height of 2440 meters. On your arrival at the end of the day, get some time for yourself to calm down and think about the day. As you progress further, you will be climbing back and going through several beautiful villages, which offer a glimpse of life in the countryside. As you approach the Bumra village (2850 m), otherwise called Nauri Ghat, the trail slowly elevates to give you that serene view of the area. This day is a combination of adventure, ethnic experience, and sightseeing followed by relaxation in Bumra.
As soon as you are through with your morning yoga session, you start the journey from Bumra to Jumla. This path leads you through beautiful countryside, and after some time you will find two bridges over the Hima River. These bridges provide visual enjoyment of the river course and the adjacent ground. After reaching the Hima River, relax on the bank of the river and wash your face. After this relaxing rest, you carry on your trip and go towards the Danphe Lagna Pass, which is 3691 meters high. The pass is very beautiful, providing magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and valleys; thus, the climb is rewarding. Once one gets to this side of the pass, the steep drop is towards Cherechaur, which can prepare one for the last lap to Jumla. This part of the trek is calm and beautiful, passing through a few villages and forests and reaching Jumla, the destination of the trek.

Nepalgunj is a city in the Terai region bordering India, and the first thing you will note there is its active and colorful spirit. Once you get there, make sure you get acclimated to its atmosphere. Bageshwori Temple is an important temple among the Nepalese people, or you can explore the local market on a rickshaw. Spend the day at the hotel or take a stroll into the city outskirts, which are not very commercialized, and have a taste of Nepali hospitality at Nepalgunj.
Early morning, you need to wake up for your flight back to Kathmandu. Before you cross the plains and hills that characterize this region, try to catch a glimpse of the great scenes that you have been through. In Kathmandu, visit for traditional souvenirs, singing bowls, pashmina shawls, Nepali jewelry, and other Nepali artifacts. Spices, herbs, and generic items that are bought in houses can be appropriately bought at Asan Bazaar. One can safely perform the Rara Lake Yoga Trek. But before that, ensure you are fit and well-armed for the expedition if you are to go hiking.
