Itinerary

A representative of our company will welcome you to Tribhuwan International Airport. The airport representative assists with luggage handling and drives you to the hotel using a tourist vehicle after arrival. At the hotel, you will find time to relax before you begin restoring your energy levels. You can take a break and then explore the sites close to Kathmandu. You will connect with your guide at the Wandering Trail office during the evening time. Your guide will explain all the details of your Annapurna Circuit Trek itinerary including Poonhill and Tilicho Lake at their office. Your trekking needs will undergo an assessment by the guide before he provides essential information about trail preparation for your upcoming adventure. The session concludes by allowing you to come back to the hotel where you can rest.

Arrival at Kathmandu(1400m)

You will depart from Kathmandu during the early hours. You will travel on a standard bus to reach Bhulbhule. After leaving Bhulbhule you will join other travelers on a shared jeep for continuing travel. The jeep will end its transport at the Dharapani location. You can observe numerous small waterfalls, breathtaking snow peaks, and multiple suspension bridges across your journey. The Marsayangdi River runs alongside numerous small villages during your journey. The settlements within this area each display distinct attractions that allow you to experience authentic traditional village customs and rural ways of living. You must stop at the police checkpoint in Dharapani to document your identification documents together with your trekking permits. The police checkpoint's proper registration system delivers security benefits and allows you to move freely. You will spend the night in Dharapani during this day.

Travel from Kathmandu to Dharapani(1860m)

On this day, you will begin your hike to Chame. Your path today leads you through beautiful alpine terrain. Initially, you will begin your trek from forest areas. While hiking, you can see different Himalayas. You can also see green farms, tall pine trees, and apple orchards. You will be also passing two Tibetan villages known as Bagarchhap and Danakyu. After walking for several hours, you will encounter the tranquil settlements of Timang. After crossing Timang, you will reach Thanchowk and Koto. Finally, in the evening time after several hours of walking, you will reach Chame. After reaching Chame, you have many options for staying for tonight. From Chame, you can see different mountains and its environment will amaze you.

Hike from Dharapani to Chame(2670m)

You will commence your trekking journey from the town of Chame today. The trails lead into pine and rhododendron tree areas throughout your walk. You will navigate through a narrow valley. After walking from Chame you need to pass through a suspension bridge that spans across the Marshyangdi River. You must climb after passing through the bridge. Moving along the trail will allow you to enjoy spectacular views of Pangdi Danda and Swargadwari Danda. The path leads through numerous tiny settlements as you make your way. It provides an opportunity to sit down for relaxation while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Walking for numerous hours on the trail will lead you to Dhikur Pokhari. This location allows you to view spectacular mountain peaks. The journey from Dhikur Pokhari requires additional suspension bridge crossing. The trail involves climbing up for some duration after using the bridge. Finally, you will arrive at Upper Pisang. The Annapurna Range becomes visible to you from this particular village. You will spend your time in this tranquil area to appreciate its magnificent natural setting.

Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang(3300m)

Today's trek will be adventurous and rewarding. You will hike on the upper route from Upper Pisang. While hiking, you can observe different prominent mountains. As you have to ascend, walk at a steady pace. On the journey, you will cross Ghyaru and Ngawal villages. While crossing these settlements, you can see prayer wheels and impressive mountain views surrounding them. You can also see different types of animals and birds on the path. After walking for several hours, you will cross Munchi. Here, you can see ancient Buddhist monasteries. From Muchi, you have to walk for a few hours to reach Manang. As you reach Manang, you can see temples along with prayer flags. Today, you will stay at Manang.

Hike from Upper Pisang to Manang(3540m)

Your trekking journey begins from the town of Manang today. Your journey starts with descending from the initial phase which ends at the river valley. After crossing the river you will proceed to the bridge. You will enter a thick forest after successfully crossing the river. Walking through the forest enables you to detect pine smells along with hearing the forest sounds. After walking for several hours, you will reach Khangsar. In Khangsar you can rest and take photographs. The traditional Khangsar village has an aged monastery which you can spot while passing through. From here, you will head to Siri Kharka. On the journey, you can see different mountains. On the route, you will find a towering peak. Here, you can pause for some time and relax in a peaceful area. Walking for 3 hours from Khangsar, you will reach Siri Kharka. You will reach Siri Khark in the evening time. Today, you will stay at Siri Kharka. This day trek will allow you to enjoy natural beauty with cultural sites.

Journey from Manang to Siri Kharka(4060m)

You will begin your trek this morning. In the initial phase, you will walk on a narrow trail. The ground is unstable, so you must walk properly in this phase. You must also walk carefully because landslides are possible in some places. You will see wonderful views while trekking, which will motivate you throughout the trek. On the trail, you can see stunning views of Peak. While traveling on this path, your journey will be memorable. Most of the day, you will be walking on the rough path. Walking for several hours leads you to encounter a small stream. You must climb up from the stream crossing point before reaching Tilicho Base Camp. Take a deep breath and appreciate the achievement upon arriving at base camp. You will have a wonderful view of the mountain from base camp. In Tilicho Base Camp, you will rest for the night. The next day will bring you additional exploration through this magnificent destination.

Trek from Siri Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp(4150m)

This day will be the most wonderful day of the trek because you can see magnificent Tilicho Lake. You have to begin your day early morning because the wind can disturb you in the daytime. After walking for 2-3 hours from base camp, you will reach Tilicho Lake. You will encounter yaks along with deer while trekking along the trail. You will experience the remarkable appeal of Tilicho Lake after reaching your destination. When you stand at the lake you will see multiple peaks of the Himalayas. Tilicho Lake holds a special place in Hindu religious history. You can spend your time in the Lake and can take a bath. You will spend some time in the lake by taking some photos and enjoying its beauty. After spending time in the Lake, you will descend back to Siri Kharka. Descending will be easy and take less time. After enjoying the spectacular landscape views, you will spend your night in Siri Kharka. This day of hiking will create indelible memories.

Visit Tilicho Lake and Trek Back to Siri Kharka(4060m)

Today's journey will start at Siri Kharka before concluding at Yak Kharka. The trekking path allows you to witness a beautiful blend of cultural landmarks with natural wonders in the landscape. Throughout this day you will walk through Kangsar. The trail leads to Thorang Khola Valley after spending several hours of walking. As you continue through the path you will encounter the Tare Gumba. You can see different types of flowers and animals together with birds. You will pass through a small bridge after several minutes of walking. You will find a large open plateau following the bridge crossing. When you stand on the plateau you can see magnificent sights of mountain ranges. The plateau offers several hours of relaxation time while you appreciate its attractive landscape. Walking from the plateau for several hours will lead you to Yak Kharka. The night will be spent at Yak Kharka. The teahouse of Yak Kharka provides magnificent views of the different peaks.

Journey from Siri Kharka to Yak Kharka(4279m)

You will begin your hike following your morning meal. The beginning of your day requires stone staircase walking. The trail reveals a clear sight of various Himalayas. The descent leads to the Marsyandhi River bank. After reaching the river bank the wooden bridge will serve as your passage across the water. Your hike will lead you across numerous small settlements and teahouses when you are on the trail. You can stop at the teahouse for relaxation and to enjoy the scenery. After having a break, you will hike along the bank of the river. After walking for several hours, you will reach Thorang Phedi. Once you reach the Thornag Phedi, you will have two options. You can stay at Thornag Phedi or High Camp. But, today we will stay at Thorang Phedi because from this location we can appreciate the panoramic views of mountain peaks and valleys

Hike from Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi(4540m)

Today hiking will be adventurous. You will start your hike from Thorang Phedi to reach Thorung La Pass. You will start your hiking by climbing. While climbing, you will have amazing views of different peaks. You have to walk properly during climbing because the path will be filled with snow. After walking for hours, you will reach Thorung La Pass. Here, you will be staying for hours to rest, capture some Pictures, and experience the mountain range. After staying for some hours, you will descend to reach Muktinath. Descending will be easier. After descending for several hours, you will reach Muktinath. After reaching Muktinath, you can visit the nearby location. You can bathe in 108 water taps and two sacred ponds in Muktinath. You can also see the Dhola Mebar Gompa temple. You can stay several hours in Muktinath temple for relaxing along with spiritual essence. On this day you will stay in Muktinath.

Hike  from Thorang Phedi to Muktinath(3710m)

You should begin your journey once breakfast is finished. The journey commences by departing from Muktinath to reach Tukuche today. Your hike will guide you through Jharkot, Kagbeni, and Ekle Bhatti which are pretty villages. The descent in today's trail makes the hike less demanding. The path to Tukuche demands first ascending to the Kali Gandaki River. You will notice a broad expansive valley with strong winds when you reach Kali Gandaki River. You will arrive at Jomsom after moving through the trek for multiple hours. During your visit to Jomsom, you will find Thakali people who communicate easily with outsiders. You can see different peaks from the Jomsom. The journey proceeds from Jomsom to the nearby Syang and Marpha. You will need to walk for many hours of hiking before reaching Tukuche. When you finally arrive at Tukuche you will experience awe. You will discover stunning mountain views when you stand at this location. You will spend the night at Tukuche on this day.

Travel from Muktinath to Tukuche(2590m)

You set off from Tukuche toward Ghasa after completing breakfast. The trail leads you through Kobang and continues to Larjung followed by Kokhethanti and finally Kalopani. The path allows you to observe various wildlife species and species of birds. The daily trek includes continuous rising followed by descending. After spending many hours you will reach Lete. After reaching Lete you will have the chance to witness the incredible scenery of Dhaulagiri Peak and Annapurna mountains. The path continues following the Kaligandaki River which leads to the destination of Ghasa from Lete. The trail offers peaceful mountain paths amidst regions with pure fresh air and breathtaking vistas of the surroundings. During the hike along the riverbank, you can listen to the peaceful river sounds. Your destination for the night will be Ghasa where you will arrive in the evening time.

Trek from Tukuche to Ghasa(2010m)

Your trek today leads you through Ghasa to Tatopani. As you move to Tatopani you will feel warmer. You will also observe an increase in vegetation. As you start to descend from Tatopani, you will see subtropical plant species throughout the route. On the route, you will find Rupse Chahara waterfall. Now, you have to follow the east bank of Kopchepani. By following this route, you will reach Narchyang Besi village. Here, you can see a small power plant. Along the way, you will pass through Dana, Duwarikhola Gaon, Guithe, and Jalthale village. Here, you can observe the lifestyle of the residents. Moving through several hours of walking will lead you to reach Tatopani. Bathing at natural hot springs becomes available after you complete your journey to Tatopani. On this day, you will stay at Tatopani.

Trek from Ghasa to Tatopani(1268m)

Your trek from Tatopani will commence after enjoying breakfast. You will begin your trek from the highway as it leads to Ghara then Shikha and Phalate villages. These villages allow you to witness traditional houses along with the farm terraces and the active daily life of the locals. As you move forward, the trail increases gradually and you have to walk on stone stairs. While climbing, you might feel difficult but it will be rewarding. Throughout the path, you can see vibrant plant life and verdant vegetation. As you ascend, mountain scenery becomes increasingly beautiful because snow covers the peaks. You will reach Ghorepani after walking for multiple hours. You should relax during the night before the first morning light to climb Poon Hill where you can witness stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani(2874m)

You will start your day by climbing to Poon hill. From Poon Hill, you can witness the Himalayan sunrise. , You will get a wonderful view when the sun reflects on a mountain peak. After enjoying the view and capturing some photos you will back to Ghorepani for breakfast. You will start your hike towards Tikhedhung after having breakfast. You will hike through stunning rhododendron forests. On the way, you will pass through three enchanting villages Nangethanti, Banthanti, and Ulleri. Today, you have to descend for the whole day so it will be an ease and a pleasure for you. After descending for several hours, you will reach Tikhedhunga. You will reach Tikhedhunga in the late afternoon. You will spend your night at Tikhedhunga. After settling in the teahouse you can unwind and remember all the thrilling experiences you have encountered throughout the day.

Trek from Ghorepani to Tikhedhunga(1540m)

Today will be your last trekking day on the Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake & Poon Hill. You will start your day after having breakfast. Starting from Tikhedhunga you will hike to Nayapul through the villages of Hile Sudame and Birethanti which feature wonderful landscape views. You will descend along Bhurungdi Khola from Sudame until it reaches Birethanti. You will start from Modi Khola before reaching your destination at Nayapul. This descent trail gives you both tranquility and ease during your trekking experience. Once you reach Nayapul, a private vehicle will be waiting for you. A waiting private vehicle at Nayapul will transport you directly to Pokhara. The journey from Nayapul back to Pokhara is short and relaxed. After reaching Pokhara, you will be dropped off at the hotel. After being fresh, you can spend your leisure time exploring Pokhara. After your incredible trekking journey, you can perfectly relax through this experience.

Trek from Tikhedhunga to Nayapul, then Drive to Pokhara(822m)

You will start your return to Kathmandu after eating breakfast at your Pokhara hotel. You will board a tourist deluxe bus to drive to Kathmandu. While driving, you will follow the Marsyangdhi and Trishuli Rivers. While driving, you can also see different flora and fauna. After traveling for hours, the bus will take a break at Tanahu for a tea break. During the break, you can enjoy the views. After the break, the bus will move forward to Kathmandu. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you can explore the sights and shop for souvenirs in the evening. We will organize a special dinner to celebrate finishing the Kori Danda Trek at Kapuche Lake. Your Kapuche Lake Trek concludes at this amazing point.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu(1400m)

The expedition that started with us officially concludes today. The arranged transportation includes a private vehicle that will transfer you directly from your hotel accommodation to the airport.
