Drive To Panauti (1 hour 30 minutes, 32 km)
Be prepared for a thrilling day hike to Panauti and Namobuddha by starting early in the morning. Panauti is located southeast of Kathmandu, a drive of about 1 hour and 30 minutes or 32km away from the busy streets of the city. Get ready for an adventure and embark on this short hike to discover the beautiful town of Panauti and the Namobuddha pilgrimage site.

Hike from Panauti to Namobudhha( 6 hours approx. 15 kilometres)
The hike from Panauti to Namobuddha starts off on uneven and rough roads for the first few kilometers. The trail includes a series of ups and downs, but the views along the way are breathtaking. Along the way, you will reach a place called Lapsibot, where you will take an upward route and be surrounded by green hills and terraced fields. After a long ascent, you will finally arrive at Namobuddha, where you can visit and pay respects at the Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Gumba, a sacred Tibetan monastery. This monastery is home to over 250 monks and has a monastic college. The views from the top are truly stunning.

Drive Back To Kathmandu (1 hour 30 minutes, 32 km)
After exploring Namobudhha and having lunch, it will be time to head back to Kathmandu. Before leaving, you can pick up souvenirs and take some final photos. After a fulfilling day, your trip will come to an end as you are dropped off at your hotel.
