Itinerary

On the first day of our journey, you will picked up by one of our representatives from the hotel and taken to Kathmandu Airport for a flight to Lukla. On this day, you will be enjoying a beautiful flight with other trekkers traveling to Everest Base Camp with us. We will reach Lukla in 20-25 minutes enjoying the beautiful picturesque moments of the Himalayas, Hills, and Kathmandu Valley. After landing at Lukla, you can hire porters to carry your backpack and equipment. Now they will be with you for the whole journey to give you the burden of trek. From Lukla, you will start to trek toward Phakding as we will be staying today there overnight. So, from there you will reach Phaking in around 3 to 4 hours where you need to walk continuously passing the lush green forest and panoramic views of villages. The trail is not so tough so you will make up to Phakding in the afternoon. Once you reach Phakding, you will be taken directly to your tea house, and then after resting for a while, you can stroll around local villages and nearby places to learn the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of Sherpas people. At night, you will get back to your homestay and stay overnight.

Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding

On the second day of our journey, we will be reaching Namche Bazaar from Phakding which is approximately 7.4 kilometers away and may take us around 5 to 6 hours to cover this journey. After having an early breakfast at Phakding, we will be ready to trek towards Namche Bazaar. Once we start our journey, we will pass the Dudh Koshi River, Dense Forest, and Mountain Ranges crossing from one peak to another with the help of the Suspension Bridge in some places. Walking slowly and steadily having frequent rest along the journey we will reach Namche Bazaar in the afternoon time. Namche Bazaar lies in the heart of the Khumbu Region where you will see the real beauty of the Himalayas with their own culture and tradition being away from cities lifestyle. They will welcome you in their traditional way taking you to your homestay and providing hospitality as you want. Here, you will have some rest enjoy your dinner, and stay overnight in homestay or tea houses.

Trek to Namche Bazaar from Phakding

Today you will have an acclimatization at Namche Bazaar cause this place of lots of things to explore. Being the heart of the Khumbu Region this place has been the hub for everything where you can explore the Namche Bazaar and see the real beauty of nearby areas. After having your lunch today you will roam around Namche Bazaar or you can go to nearby places like hiking towards Everest View Point or Khumjung Village from where you can enjoy the view of the iconic peaks of Everest, Lhotse, Manaslu, and Other ranges. Also, you can visit nearby viewpoints like Thame or Khunde. Also, you may wish to check out the area, which includes the Tourist Visitor Center for the exhibition on Everest climbers, Sherpa culture, and varieties of local flora and fauna. We retreat to Namche for an overnight stay.

:Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar

On the fourth day of our journey, we will have our breakfast and get ready to trek towards Tengboche. Today, you will reach at an altitude of 3,867m. Slowly you will start to get the real vibe of the Himalayas when you gradually increase the altitude and get closer to the foot of Mt. Everest. Well, the population at Tengboche is a little low but spending time with those Sherpas will be the best memory and you can enjoy fully gathering with them. Here, you will take a rest and have you stay at a tea house having a delicious dinner with some desserts compliment.

Trek to Tengboche from Namche Bazar

On the fifth day of our journey, we will trek toward Dingbohce from Tengboche which will take us around approximately 5 to 6 hours. This day you have to trek for a little longer than in previous days cause you have to reach the homestay at Dingboche. You will see some tea houses on the way but they are not homestays so there you will only have your lunch. Once you reach Dingboche, you will surely be enjoying the Tundra Climate of Dingboche at an altitude of 4,410 meters. It is the last village of Sherpas in the Khumbu Region where the estimated number of people is around 200. At night, you will have your dinner and stay overnight.

Trek to Dingboche from Tengboche

On this day, the trek begins with a climb through the Khumbu Khola valley to Duglha. As you get closer to Dusa, the valley begins to shrink. Along the journey, you can spot many memorials with praying flags and stones in remembrance of climbers who died on the way to Mt. Everest may also be found. You will then arrive at the path that connects Gokyo Lakes and Cho-La Pass. In a usual hike towards Lobuche, you might easily become fatigued walking across the mountainous terrain. After stepping at Lobuche, you may stay there for today.

Trek to Lobuche from Dingboche

In the early morning, we will have our breakfast and start the trail from Lobuche Village to Gorak Shep (5,164m). Next, you will continue your journey and move towards Everest Base Camp and enjoy it. You will take photos, explore the places, and fully enjoy your destination at the foot of Mt. Everest. After spending time at EBC you will get back to Gorak Shep in around 6 to 7 hours in total round trip. After having your successful trek now you will rest that day at Gorak Shep.

Trek to Gorakshep from Lobuche then Everest Base Camp and Back to Gorakshep

Finally, today we will reach Kala Patthar, and watch other many peaks as well as beautiful scenery. After having breakfast at Gorakshep we will get ready for our trek and once we start it we will slowly encounter Mt. Everest along with other many Himalayas in front of your eyes providing jaw-dropping views. After reaching Kala Pathharr you will have some beautiful picturesque moments which is also gonna be the highest altitude of our trip. After spending time at Kala Pathhar, we will enjoy the moment by watching the panoramic view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, and other beautiful ranges. From Kala Patthar, we will get back directly to Phericha to spend the night where we will be warmly welcomed by Sherpas providing us the top-notch hospitality. At night, we can enjoy the Nepali culture dancing, singing, and other beautiful activities performed by locals. You will be served Nepali Traditional Cusine along with deserts and after spending some time you will get back to your room.

Trek to Kala Patthar from Gorakshep Then Trek down to Pheriche

On Day 9, You will have your lunch and start to hike from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar. It may take you up to 6 to 7 hours to reach Namche Bazaar. After reaching Namche Bazaar, you will stay there and take a rest. You will enjoy and explore the things you left back in Namche Bazaar when you were here first. Now, at night you will stay here at Namche Bazaar and have your dinner.

Trek to Namche Bazaar from Pheriche

On this day, you have a premium exploration of Namche Bazaar on this day where you will have your lunch too. After having a delicious trek then, today you will gradually leave the Himalayan region. It will take approximately 6-7 hours to reach Lukla. Here you can enjoy the Sherpa Community by visiting Sherpa Stupas, Monasteries, and other Religious Places. After a day spent at Lukla, you will pack up and prepare for the journey back to Kathmandu. Dinner may include the local Sherpa cuisine, with drinks upon request.

Trek to Phakding from Namche Bazaar and Then to Lukla

On the last day of our journey, you will get a warm farewell from Sherpa people, guides, and porters. Then, you will get back to Lukla Airport. Your flight from Lukla will bring you back to Kathmandu showing you the best eyesight views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks, terrain landscapes, and many more. Once we reach Kathmandu, you will be dropped off at your preferred destination or you can move with us to other destinations.

A porter can carry as much as 20 kilos of your baggage through the EBC trek. It is best to travel light and only what is important should be packed along. Carry a small daypack for water, snacks, and a camera.

Yes, you need a permit to go on a trek at Everest Base Camp. One is from, the Trekkers Information Management System which is a database of tourists who have come here to Nepal on a Tourism VISA. Other than the EBC trek you need a permit from Khumbu Rural Municipality Permit and Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit.
