Itinerary
We will on this day drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. We are drive early morning at around 7 am. On the way, we will pass by a lot of farm villages and cities with views of snow topped peaks.
Pokhara actually is the most well-known valleys in the southern slope of Himalayas. It hides the best of Himalayan charisma with three arresting lakes in its region- Phewa, Begnas and Rupa. Overnight In Pokhara.
We start our journey on a jeep that takes us to Sikles village. Following three hours of driving, we will show up at an acclaimed customary Sikles Gurung Village.
On this day, we hike further to Hugu Goth passing several tiny hamlets and farmlands. We arrive at the far-off town of Hugu Goth, where we can stay overnight.
Today, you’ll trek from Hugu to Kahphuche lake and then trek back to Hugu. Kahphuche Lake is the lowest glacial lake in Nepal. This lake lies here at a height of 2,456meters above sea level. The path is easy and short compared to other trails in your journey. You’ll enjoy the beautiful mountain range and the peaceful wildlife of the trail.
After trekking for 2 hours, you’ll reach Kahphuche Lake. The beautiful mountains will surround you with the crystal clear blue lake upfront. The beautiful scenery provided to you by Kahphuche Lake will amaze you. After spending some time and taking some pictures you’ll return back to Hugu village. You’ll be trekking for a total of 4 hours and overnight camp in Hugu.
From Hugu Goth, it takes about 4-5 hours to reach Nohtha. We will have to cross the Hugu Khola and start to trek uphill through rhododendron, fir, and pine forests. The sight of mountains on this day is also the same (Annapurna II, IV & Lamjung Himal). However, the mountains become nearer. Overnight at Nhota
We will have to trek uphill to Kori Danda for about 4-5 hours. We will enter the meadows area leaving the tree lines. The top of Kori is the centre of Nepal from East to West. The view is spectacular from the top. We can enjoy the scenery of the cascading hills. We can get the sight of Pokhara Valley as well. The top vertical view is of mountains and down horizontal view is of the valley. Therefore, it is the photographer’s paradise too. Overnight at Tent/Shelter House.
Early in the morning, we will hike to Kori Upper Viewpoint which takes about an hour. The place offers a better view of Manang and Kaski’s old trade route. There is another trekking route as well. We can reach the Manang and meet the Annapurna Circuit Trek route as well. However, we will return back following the downhill trail to Tasa. Overnight at Tasa.
We will again do the downhill trekking today. Once we reach the Sikles Village, we will enjoy quality time with the locals. You can stroll around the village and learn more about Gurung culture in their own backyard. This is the biggest attraction of this trek. Mountains, forests, rivers, lakes, meadows and wildlife are there but the cultural aspect of the trek makes it more worthwhile.
This morning after breakfast take the bag and say to bye the Silkies village gets the jeep to drive to Pokhara for 5 hours. The afternoon has good lunch and sightseeing in Pokhara Phewa lake. If, you like to booting on the Phewa Lake for relaxing. In the evening which kind of meal want to have or your favourite food can choose and enjoy it overnight at the hotel.
Early in the morning, we will drive back to Kathmandu. After that, we will transfer to our hotel in Kathmandu. At hotel, you can just relax or go for last minute shopping. Overnight in hotel.
Lastly, Enjoy your last moment in Kathmandu with a stroll or souvenir shopping. Therefore, Marking the end of your trek, we will drive you to the Tribhuvan International Airport.
