Overview
The Lower Mustang Bike Ride Tour is an adventure-filled experience that some call the Jomsome-Muktinath bike ride tour. This tour offers a significant portion of Nepal’s Himalayan landscape, and is particularly well-known for mountain biking in Nepal. The tour provides stunning views of scenic plateaus with breathtaking Himalayan vistas. The Muktinath bike ride passes through diverse tropical geography en route to Muktinath, giving you the opportunity to experience the authentic way of life of the mountain people and indulge in off-road adventure in Nepal. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to explore the trails of Muktinath, appreciate the hospitality of the friendly local hosts, and experience the incredible diversity of Nepal. The tour also includes unique villages like Marpha (famous for apple farm), Kagbeni and many other on the bike ride route. The village of Tatopani is also on the route where you can enjoy natural hot spring. This ride is considered moderate in terms of difficulty and is suitable for people who are physically and mentally fit.
The Lower Mustang Bike Ride Tour offers the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the cultural blend of Mustang and to explore beyond, reaching the highest altitude of 3,710 meters at Muktinath. The tour takes us along ancient trade routes, including the old trade route to Tibet. Muktinath, a popular pilgrimage site for followers of the Hindu and Buddhist religions, is believed to be a place where, by bathing under the 108 water taps, one’s sins are washed away, making them as pure as a child again. The Mustang region is also known for its fantastic single trails that will engage mountain and endurance riders, as well as jeep trails and less challenging single trails, guaranteed to bring a smile to the face of any mountain biker.
