Nepal is a land rich in natural beauty, with 75% of its land consisting of mountains and the high Himalayas. It is a popular destination for trekkers, hikers and nature lovers. While many travelers associate Nepal with only trekking, the country has much more to offer. Adventure-seekers can also enjoy activities such as rafting, cannoning, jungle safari, cultural tours, helicopter tours, paragliding, bungee jumping, zip flying, and hunting reserve.

Nearly 43% of the land in Nepal is covered in forests, including two UNESCO Natural Heritage Sites, Chitwan National Park and Sagarmatha National Park, which are both protected areas by the government. Chitwan National Park is located in Southern Nepal and was designated as a UNESCO site in 1979. It covers an area of 932 square kilometers and is home to the Narayani, Rapti, and Reu rivers, which provide a fertile habitat for various species of flora and fauna.

The Chitwan National Park is particularly famous for its wildlife, including over 600 endangered one-horned rhinos, elephants, bears, deer, wild cats, leopards, monkeys, crocodiles, pythons, king cobras, and more than 100 endangered Royal Bengal Tigers. The park also has a diverse collection of bird and butterfly species.

Visitors to Chitwan National Park can participate in a variety of activities such as jungle hiking, cannon rides, jeep safaris, elephant rides, village tours, and cultural programs.
